Michele Wyatt Brady, LPC, NCC, MAC, CTMH has over 20 years of professional experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She currently attained her certification as a CPCS to provide clinical supervision to newly licensees. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1997 from the University of West Georgia and remained enrolled at the institution to complete her Master of Education degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology in 2000. She became licensed as an LAPC in 2001 and transitioned to full licensure as an LPC in 2004. She has worked in various behavioral health settings including community-based services (CORE and IFI), Mobile Crisis Response, residential and intensive outpatient substance treatment programs, DJJ RYDC, psychiatric research at Emory University, public health services (HIV+ and other special populations), Independent Living Programs, in addition to school-based support services (substitute teacher, contracted services counselor, and parent liaison) and Autism/DD/IDD specific care as a Behavior Specialist. She is a certified trainer in Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention. Michele enjoys working with adults, children, adolescents, and families and is very passionate about the act of helping others achieve their personal goals of healthy emotional and mental functioning no matter the age or circumstance. Michele is an Atlanta native and the mother of three- one adult and two teenage adolescents. She is most proud of her greatest role and accomplishment on this Earth and that is being a mom. She takes full advantage of opportunities to travel with her husband, children/family and is a horror/suspense thriller movie lover. Michele also enjoys dining out, bowling, swimming, live music, walks in the park and occasional gym work. She is also a Realtor and in her spare time enjoys helping people find and sell homes/ real estate.
Michele is dedicated to helping others and upholding the highest standards in the profession of counseling. She is committed to person-centered care. Her personal motto is to never give up and her perception of her role in the world as a change agent derives from one of her favorite quotes by Mahatma Gandhi- “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
