Nonviolent Crisis and Intervention (NCI/CPI) Instructor
Tynika Rogers, MS has four years of professional experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities. She received her Masters Degree in Counseling in Psychology with a concentration in Rehabilitation at The Prestigious Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in Huntsville Al. She is currently studying to receive her Certification Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC) in the upcoming months.
Tynika has worked with all age groups who have needed support or faced challenges with maladaptive behaviors and mental health diagnoses. Tynika holds a certification as an instructor for Nonviolent Crisis and Intervention training. She has also had experience working in community-based settings as a Therapist for Core and IFI services, Mobile Crisis Response Team, Behavior Specialist providing support for Intensive-In home, residential and day programs for individuals with Autism/DD/IDD and a Behavioral Paraprofessional in the school system. She recognized her passion for helping others when her grandfather had to go attend a living facility after having a stroke and leaving him paralyzed on one side of the body. Tynika is family-oriented, loves to travel, and enjoys trying new hobbies.
